You’re Invited!
Join us on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Seattle Art Museum from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm for the Uplifting Artists Celebration! We come together to celebrate 20+ years of Native artist grantees and their intrinsic benefit to our communities through art, culture, music, language and service.
Your registration comes with a night of entertainment, food and drink, SAM gallery access featuring the Indigenous Matrix: Northwest Women Printmakers and American Art: The Stories We Carry exhibitions, a chance to shop our curated Art Market and the reason we are coming together – to celebrate and uplift our amazing artist grantees from over the past 20 years!
Potlatch Fund believes that artists are essential to all communities as bridge builders, bearers of culture, and connectors to contemporary Native communities in celebrating Indigenous values, stories, and wisdom.
Get ready for a night of Indigenous creativity!
We are excited to announce four Native fashion designers who will be showcasing some incredible designs at our event: Carrie Moran McCleary (Little Shell Chippewa/Cree), Della Stump (Crow/Apsaalooke) "Designs by Della", Rebekah Jarvey (Chipewa Cree/ Blackfeet), Olivia Rose Williamson (Crow) "Lady Pompadour". Mato Wayuhi (Oglala Lakota)- composer of the hit show Reservation Dogs, will be providing live entertainment, along with DJ Gila Suspectum (Pima/Yaqui) will be spinning the jams all night long!
